Forums mIRC Help irc:// hyperlink option (is it just me...or?)

Hello:
I got 2 mIRC installations (C:\mIRC and C:\Program Files\mIRC) and I have the Enable Support and Confirm Requests options disabled in my C:\mIRC install under mIRC options > IRC > Catcher. But I want it to be enabled for the C:\Program Files\mIRC install. Is this possible?

yup, just leave it disabled for the one you don't want to catch the links and change the one you do want to catch links..to catch links.

afaik mirc uses registry for that option, so no i dont belive its possible

that's the thing. i launched my C:\mirc\mirc.exe and disabled the irc:// option linking. And then enabled it for the C:\Program Files\mIRC\mirc.exe but when I click an irc:// link on a webpage, it opens with hte C:\mIRC\mirc.exe install.
