can * Looking up blah user info... be silenced like /hop and /channel
i tried doing it the same way as those 2, they silence ok, but /uwho doesn't
crazy

I made this post before the post above. Yep, it should be a bug, because as I mentioned, it's not possible to silence it, while it definitely should, by using /.uwho

It is not a bug, mIRC has always echo'd that, just like it has always echo'd '* Now talking in #channel'

And we are saying that it should always have been possible to be silenced, but forgotten. Therefore, in our view, a bug.

And * Now talking in #channel CAN be hidden with on ^*:JOIN:#: echo -a your text | halt

That is not possible with the text displayed when performing /uwho
