Im using mirc 6.16, without any scripts.

The problem is that mirc isnt showing +s channels in the /list window (callled Channels). However, if i do /debug @debug, i see that the +s channel is sent to me.

I don't have a custom /list alias, or any raw event that changes it.

Output from the @debug window:

-> server.network LIST <10000
<- :server.network 321 vakuum Channel :Users Name
<- :server.network 322 vakuum %#sekrit 3 :
<- :server.network 323 vakuum :End of /LIST

I talked to a friend of mine, who also tested it, and used mirc 6.16 and did see the +s channel in the /list window. So i'm pretty confused why it works for him and why it doesnt work for me. Anyone has any idea why ?

vakuum

Also, /list is nothing to do with mIRC, mIRC merely outputs the data that the server sends to it.

Note that he gave a debug output that showed the server WAS sending the secret channel info.

The % prefix is what is causing the error.

vakuum:
Disable "Hide non-text channels" in list options (Alt+L), that will (should) fix the error. Your friend probably has this option disabled already, which would be why he could see it.

Point is that mirc doesnt output this data, as shown in the debug log, since i get the +s channel sent to my client, but it isnt shown in the /list window. (%#sekrit is the +s channel, % = secret in bahamut.)

I wonder where the % came from. Since there's an # already, I suspect % wasn't meant to be the channel name prefix.

%# is a common channel prefix for IRCX servers.

Channel modes with +s are SECRET, meaning they are SECRET and aren't suposed to be seen. =/
