Hey,

I was trying to rename mirc.exe to another name and i tried a few combinations, and the only ones that worked were mirc*.exe.
Why is it not possible to rename mirc.exe to something else, like
MyOwnScript.exe

Due to changes made in mIRC 6.1 and above, the mIRC.exe file must always start with 'mIRC' - this is to help prevent copyright infringement and spreading viruses (i.e. renaming mirc.exe to myscript.exe, packed with a trojan, or passing it off as your own program).
