Is it possible to leave a "memo" for a nickname so they can see it at a later time? (not sure if memo is the right word but a message to be viewed later by them)

Depends on the network. Some networks have what is called a "MemoServ" service. Registered users can send other registered users a memo that can be seen apon their next login. Such a command usually follows this syntax:

/memoserv send <name> <message>

Check with your network administrator to see if your server allows this.

Hi Plazz,

This is possible on some networks that allow for nick registration. DALnet comes to mind, they have a feature called memoserv that does exactly this.

Otherwise you are looking at scripting a bot to take messages for the channel(s) you use and someone to host the bot 24/7 so its always there when you connect to pick it up!

Hope this answers your question.
