Topic almost says it all. Is it possible to place an @window between two other @windows?

Not that I know of, but you could initially open the windows in the order that you want them to appear, then use /window -h to hide those that you don't want and /window -w to show them

Yeah that works for the initiating. But later on during the run of the script, there will be more windows needed, and then in a specific order. With /window -h/-w you can't re-sort them, they will re-appear where they were last.

your going to have open them all again in the order you want them.

I have done this before, I hide all the old ones and rename them *.OLD, then open the @windows again in the order i want, and from memory use FILTER to move the contents across from the .OLD ones to the new ones, then close the .OLD ones.

Pretty sad considering you should be able to just rearange there order.

If you want the same windows always in the same pos, the 'Sort' dialog in the 'Window' menu could possibly help.

That would work until you went multi-server, then it'd get more complex since the -z doesnt stay within its own status but rather goes straight to the end, leaving you with multiple status windows to play with while sortting.
