or whatever is called, the channel bar, i saw that in options it is possible to set it in 1 row, 2 or 3 rows,
but it would be good to mirc automatically IF possible increases itz size when are loaded like more than 7 or 8 channels, then it should switch to 2 row bar

if you understand...

Would be nice if it did this automatically i suppose when theres no longer room on the single bar though i could never personally even fill 1 bar, but thats just me.

it'd be easier just to go and do it manually, wont kill yah.

As an FYI it's called the 'switchbar'.

There is always technically 'room' on one line, it just gets so squashed up it gets to the point where it's unreadable - how mIRC is meant to detect this I don't know, as one person's view of what is readable (comfortably) and what is not differs from another persons.

Most people have an average number of rooms they go to every time they connect to IRC, I think people that need to use the multi-line switchbar feature have what they need already IMO.

If the switchbar is a tab control with the button style set (looks like one), then it doesn't need to detect anything as the control already has a multiline property.

It's in mIRC display options:

ALT+O > Display

Under the 'lines:' drop down list. You can have up to 7 lines.
