Forums Bug Reports High CPU When Selecting Text

I noticed that since version 6.03 selecting text with mouse causes CPU usage to spike. (to 50%+ on my Athlon 1.3Ghz) If you continue to hold onto mouse button the CPU usage would remain high. The problem is still there with v6.16. Does anyone notice this or is it just me?

(Btw, the text being selected contains multibyte characters.)

happens here also, but only while selecting - if i have marked everything the CPU usage goes down to 0 again
