Thats very intresting looking. Have you tryed to uninstall mIRC and then reinstalling it? Which version are you using anyway and with what Operating System. Oh, and what sort of window is it coming up in? Like maybe a firewall programs window? or virusprotection window? Windows Window?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled mIRC, but still no luck. Operating System is Windows XP Professional and the window that pops up appears to be a "Windows" popup window.

It's happened with many versions. I don't think my old computer had this problem...

Did anyone ever find an acceptable workaround or fix for this issue? I have the same issue on a Windows2000 Server and it is still continuing following an upgrade to Windows2003 Server.

There really does not seem to be a rhyme or reason why the program crashes. I have reviewed the logs from mirc and there is nothing why the crash happens. It seems that it happens most when someone is exiting an fserv window (or the window times out and closes automatically) yet usually that alone does not make a difference.

I am running 2 seperate instances of mirc, both 6.16 and it happens to both of them... but not at the same time. I have tried to downgrade the client, but it does not make a difference.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

When I woke up this morning, I had one nerve left and I'll be damned if you didn't just get on it.
