Please could someone help me as i'm trying to connect to server eu.undernet.org (6667) local host : (195.137.39.205)

the message is unable to connect (connection refused)

is the prob my ports listening on the worng port (6667) and if so which do i change it to and how do i do that and if my local host is an old one what do i change it to as well...i await the results thanx!!!!!

Try a different server - connection refused usually just means that particular server is full. smile

Went through all the lsit of servers on irc networks on mirc on both random/all even twisted,tiscali....

and was getting the same msg unable to connect (connection refused) the listening port was 6667 and the local host is 195.137.39.205. is there anything wrong in them setting or please could you inform me on what i'm doing wrong.

Using Random isnt going to work on DALnet, and may not on some other networks. There are some servers in the ini for mIRC that are no longer working, I would suggest trying something like: /server irc.quakenet.eu.org or /server irc.Prison.NET or /server 193.109.122.4

I tried eu.undernet.org (yes, on 6667) and got connected, but it was slow to connect to, so you mite want to go to files/options/connect/options, click on the retry button and increase your "If not connected within ___secs" a little bit.
When i connected using the numberical, it connected a lot faster.

Im not sure what you mean by your localhost is an old one, but in file/options/connect/localinfo, clear both boxes and let mIRC try to grab the correct info itself.
