DCC Resume from nick rejected (invalid parameters)
I have used mirc 5.91 (32), 6.15 and 6.16 clients. All of them are unable to get resume
The clients on the other end of the pipe have been mIRC 6.14 and 6.15
I've mixed up versions and used the same version as the receiver but still no joy. I used a script to capture RAW a while ago... it is definitely messing up the parameters slightly in that the filesizes are not sent back from the receiver correctly (two numbers are supposed to be sent back... the bytes completed and the total number of bytes). So I have to give them a ctcp reply to send back to me in a command in order for dcc resume to work.
This doesn't just happen on my pc at home. I've run it from other pc's on other home networks. Windows 2000 and XP OS's as well. I've had the user on the other end take down their firewalls as well.
Why is this happening and why isn't this fixed yet? I've had this problem for months now.
