Forums Connection Issues Unable to resolve server

From one day to the next my mIRC wouldnt let me connect

irc.gamesurge.net is the server which is one of the most well known b/c it is a huge on in the CS community

Anyways, i tried downloading the new mIRC and re-installing

didnt work same problem, tried different computer, and same thing

are there some new security modules that have updated and now my firewall is a problem ? (its a 4switch router)

anyways any insights
i read some of the other topics about previous problems and none quite matched mine, if one is exactly the same and this is all in vain then i sincerely apologize.

i can connect to other servers

so there has to be something particular to irc.gamesurge.net

or irc.us.gamesurge.net

same thing is happening to me, i cant even go to gamesurge's website its very odd.... hope it gets back up soon cause i gotta find a scrim for Cs !!!
