I can't color nicks with mode * using /cnick because it treats it as all modes even though there is an -a which specifies all modes.
e.g. /cnick * 12 *
colors all nicks with any mode

sorry i was wrong, they're not the same. but still there should be some way to color mode *

maybe would be better done (in the future) with $chr(42) or allow the use of $chr values all around. There's not THAT many of them to worry about - what, like maybe 10 different ones across the 10 MAJOR networks? (guessing)
