Um i think there is something wrong because when i click on a irc link, it is supposed to connect me atomatically to the server and maybe the channel. (examples of these links are on www.searchirc.com---> I searched for snowboarding.) When I use regular unscripted mIRC, it will work but when I use any script it won't work. I tested out sysreset, upp, polaris se, and EXtreme. But i get the same problem with all of them.

Then it would suggest that those scripts are interfering.

Do those scripts come with the mirc.exe installed with them? If so, not only is that illegal, but the only place to get mIRC is from the download page on this site.

Make sure chat links are enabled - ALT+O > IRC > Catcher - check the box 'Enable support' and 'Confirm requests'.

You may also want to enable DDE if you haven't got it enabled already (by default I believe it is): ALT+O > Other > [DDE...] and check the box 'Enable DDE Server'.

More info on chat links are available here.
