In the firewall section of the options dialog, the 'Firewall support' combo box initially has 3 options; None, Server, DCC. When I select one of the latter 2, it changes the combo box to show; Server, DCC, Both. The 'None' option has gone, thus making it impossible to disable the firewall through the options dialog. I have to use the '/firewall off' command instead.

Not impossible, use the arrow keys. This bug is also well documented here. grin

Ok, this might sound stupid, but why not have the firewall option a checkbox like this (as well as protocal):

Firewall:
[] None [] Server [] DCC [] Both

Protocal:
[] Socks4 [] Socks5 [] Proxy

There's plenty of room for it and IIRC didnt older mirc's do it this way?

I think you mean radio buttons. Check boxes are used for making multiple selections. But I like the combo box layout. It's just a shame it doesn't work how it's supposed to.

what precisely isnt working for you? Or do you mean needing to use the arrow keys? Nothing is perfect, and while no one likes them, bugs happen. This one occurs in some OS displays, not all...and afaik the option itself works fine.

Yes it did too checkboxes or maybe radio buttons. I agree with you too. I prefer checkboxes and radiobuttons to combos because they allow all information to be seen at once. Scripting-wise they are easier to script too.

dunno how you came to that conclusion from my post. But Khaled rarely announces ahead of time what has been fixed/not fixed/added... everyone has to wait for release to find out smile
