I was trying to open a socket connection and have it connect to a irc server..but then i releazied i didnt know crap about sockets or what to do..can someone point me in the right direction?
Well obviously /help sockets first to get a basic feel, I assume you've done that already! You might try Jagfire's socket tutorial it's pretty good. Also mIRCscripts.org have a number of tutorials which may come in handy (That socket bot seems particularly applicable here).
