i've seen this in channels:

i know it is fserv, but can someone tell me how to set up this??

sorry to say. no one here will help you set something like that up. and seeing that u have made quite a few posts here. you should have come across at least one post on these forums that say that. (not trying to insult you)

But. if you choose to setup an fserv using mirc. for personal files like pictures and so forth. in mIRC type: /help fserv

Small note:

There are a number of reasons we don't help with illegal file sharing here (not because we're mean!) - you can see some of those reasons in this post.

Oh and to avoid confusion it's /help /fserve or /help File Server as /help fserv leads to the help file index.

Incorrect. I would not say the figure is as high as 75%, although I do think it's the slight majority (i.e. 51%) that may do. It's a shame really, due to people's pure ignorance and arrogance.

Nevertheless, even if (or when) it gets to the point that 99% of the IRC population is using it to file trade, we'll not help with breaking the law as long as this forum or mIRC exists.
