Hello~ i'm using the 3com router 3c855, and using mirc 6.03.
I have already to set the DCC port 1024-1050 in mIRC, and set that port range to port forwarding in router.
If I connected all channel but do not send/receive, that must be no problem.
But, when I am sending/receiving in DCC always interrupt, afterward will disconnect all channel. So i need to reconnect all channel and resend the file. But the problem still continous.

What OS are you using?
Are you disconnected from mIRC or your isp or does your puter shutdown and do a restart?
Do you have latest firmware/drivers for your router?
Have you installed any of the socalled speed patches?

the mIRC is stopped the transfer. Afterward, the mIRC disconnected. I need to restart the mIRC program. But the problem still here. The firmware is the lastest 1.02. no use the speed patch and the OS is win2000 server.
The main point is the ISP connection is not disconnect. I can see www,ftp,email....but cannot use mIRC(send/receive) only.
Please help!

What is the disconnect error? like 10053 software caused, peer caused etc. Has this only been happening since you got the 3com router and can you test without it so we can see if the prob is related to the router or to 2k?
And just to be sure, this always happens when you try to dcc regardless of the file size? and only when you dcc?

Sounds like the problem is with the firmware/drivers for 3com, or perhaps the way they interact with win2k. About all i could suggest is check for different 3com firmware and wouldnt hurt to check for any driver updates for win2k while youre at it. I've seen other users posting about 3com, perhaps someone will post to tell you what they are using. There may even be info around and about the web from other users with the same prob, or 3coms tech support may be able to help.
