Somone that know if its possible to see what the curent speed you using is? the DLL files i have found only show the amount of data being downloaded, then the speed of your network card.. somone have any ideas? smile like Your curent speed is xx.xx kb/sec .. like u see in a DCC window and download window if u download somthing from the web, hope i explained this enuff grin

Current speed of what exactly? For a typical IRC connection about 90% of the potential bandwidth that could be used isn't because nothing is being sent or received, so anything attempting to measure 'network speed' will give a meaningless value. The only thing involving client-server performance that has meaning is the time it takes to respond to a command, which is of course what the PING command is for.


Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and stupid comments are intentional.

do a search for a DLL called "darkenginepro.dll"

alternatively theres a whole system info thing that includes it here:
http://www.phucknut.net/scripts/
altho it seems to be down at the moment

darkenginepro.dll measures all bandwidth being used outside of irc (or at least it seems outside of irc because its very innacurate when only downloading via dcc)
