Forums mIRC Help Strange message, indeed....

Greetings all. After updating my home version of windows xp, I logged onto my favorite chat channel on the undernet to find this message repeaded over and over: *** Server does not recognize _UPD.TITLE command. I turned off the personal firewall, thinking that might fix it. But I'm clueless. Anybody got an idea?

Your script is sending the _UPD.TITLE command to the server, I doubt it's anything to do with the fact you updated XP, it's more likely to be one of your script files was accidentally edited or deleted to remove the _UPD.TITLE alias. Try reinstalling whatever script you are using.
