When you're done sending a DCC, you get:
[timestamp] DCC Send of <file>.<ext> to <nick> complete (<duration> <speed rate>)
And it's about the same syntax for DCC Gets.
My suggestion is: instead of displaying what was the speed rate just before it ended display the average speed rate of the Send/Get. It would give a better overview of how your dcc send/get went.

Anyone agrees ?

Perhaps, but if you're sending a small file (like a small .txt) there's not much point in an 'average' speed as even if you're on dialup the file would be sent in a matter of seconds and your speed would not have changed much, if at all.

What's more, I should imagine most people (all mass file traders aside) have no need to have an "overview" of their DCC sends smile

I don't see a problem with having an option to enable average DCC speed display or something though.

My 2 cents.

Mentality/Chris
