Can anyone tell me what is up with this bkdr_ircflood.x deal?
The Housecall scanner says that i am infected, but Mcafee cant find it. I have the very latest Mcafee scanner and the latest dat updates. I even scanned my pc with the Mcafee Stinger malware scanner and it doesnt find anything. Is this a real infection or just a sensitive scanner reacting to something it thinks is a virus?

Please read this thread - Other people have had the same issue, it's believed to be a false positive but that is not a certainty.

Interesting, I cant seem to find any of the files that are a part of this trojan on my hard drive. I wonder, is it possible that when I ran the trend micro trojan program, it removed all of it but left registry entries that the housecall scanner keeps finding and cleaning every time i reboot and scan again? It seems to keep coming back after housecall says it cleaned it. Any ideas anyone?
