Forums Connection Issues can download dut cant upload

i can received files from friends but i cant send any.
the problem started when i plug mi new router D-LINK 604
mi question is as follows
is there a specifiq configuration for my router and can you tell me wat it is
by the way i am connected and the file transfer does not start and i get no error message.

You need to forward certain ports in your router for DCC to work. By default, it's 1024-5000 but it's understandable you may not want to forward that many, so you can always specify a minimum of two ports (preferably in that range however) and set them in ALT+O > Connect > Options > [Advanced].
