Forums Bug Reports weird flashing bug (not the same as others)

Ok, I have my channel windows set to flash (mirc's taskbar box) on text when Im not in the channel. Well, if I go back to mirc and read the text and then (I THINK this is part of the query being changed to NOT close if a msg was given within 5 seconds prior thing - where it might still flash if it was sent within 5 seconds of going to another app) switch to another program all together, mirc continues to flash. I want it to flash but NOT after Ive already read the text I need to

Ok, I found the problem and good us it's not mirc. Hell, it's not even a PROBLEM. What happened was I installed win2k on this computer when it was new (which is a first for me so I wasnt ruling that out). Second, I installed TweakUI Powertoys for win2k (which is NOT new except for thre 2k stuff). Third, I (through exploring) found a setting in the win2k Powertoys under the tab GENERAL for Prevent Applications from stealing Focus. Under that are 2 dots; one for Flash taskbar button until I check it (now checked and solved the problem) and Flash taskbar button "X" times (which was dotted before). After removing the check from Prevent Appications from stealing focus (not that they did beforehand unless I misunderstood what it does) and switching (just in case) to Flash taskbar button until I click it, the issue has resolved itself
