Forums mIRC Help mirc sounds wont turn off

Hi I am trying out the new mirc 6.14 and set the options to the same as I had in 6.12, and am using the same mrc files as I used before as well, but now I am getting occasional double beeps coming from mirc its the internal mirc beep. Every time it occurs its a double beep and seems to not be at any set interval, I always check for something that might have triggered a beep ,query,notice,flood,disconnect but nothing seems to have happened it just seems to beep for some reason.

Is there something new I need to disable? or is this a bug in 6.14? anyone else got this problem?

In the sounds dialog each event is set to no sound and I have all the boxes unticked and beeps set to 0.

try typing /ebeeps off

seems to have done the trick

/ebeeps off no longer fixes it hmmmm

i tried mirc 6.12 all day same options and no beeps

6.14 all day random beeps usually 10-60 min gap in between each one, cannot see anything obvious triggering the beep.
