I had accidentally tried to do a /list before I was completely connected... then after the motd had finished and mIRC had set my usermodes... I tried to do a list again... and got 'listing already in progress'... here's some status window lines..

(4:13p) -servername- *** Received identd response

(Here is where I typed /list ... for some reason it paused for several seconds waiting for the following response)

(4:13p) -servername- *** No socks server found (good!)...

...
-
* No one in your notify list is on IRC

* /list: listing in progress...

Did you try again after a few minutes?

With the channel dialog for example (iirc) it has a timeout for when it'll wait for a responce...

If there is no timeout for /list, then there should be

Also with other things that require server responces (but cant think what they are atm :P)

Just did it again, and 10 minutes later... still getting the 'still listing' problem...
