Forums mIRC Help Private Message - Incoming Text not visible

Hi there... have a fellow user that can no longer see any incoming messages in her private message window. She can see her own text... but nothing sent by a myriad of others... using various colors of text. Any ideas what has caused this? Did not find any ignores in place...

Tell her to:

• Type /ignore -rw (just to make sure the problem is not here).
• Type /remote off to disable any scripted remote that can potentially block private messages.
• Go to File >> Options >> [+] Other >> Lock and uncheck everything. Then press OK.

bless you... it worked for her! musta been some residual remote scripting going on after the removal of a script. thank you so much for your help!

You're welcome. If your friend wants to remove the script itself, she can open the remote section by pressing ALT+R and manually delete whatever was left there.
