Whenever I keep mIRC open for extended periods of time (say for a week), I get this error when I attempt to close mIRC:

The instruction at "0x77f8b812" referenced memory at "0x01870030". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program. [ok]

This error never occured with mIRC 6.11 or older.
mIRC 6.12 running on Windows XP SP1 [build 2600]
no known virus/trojan detected in memory
md5 hash of mirc.exe: 8dbd2af735abc63ad1a1c60d415a5758

Are you using a script or perhaps a DLL that interfere with the GUI in mIRC?

I have the exact same problem aswell. And i am using a very plain copy of mIRC .. well a small custom script dealing with general channel maintanance.. nothing too spiffy. no dll's.
Windows XP build (2600) yadda yadda..
ditto no trojans or virus's
Im not sure or the actual error at the moment. but im sure i could leave it a week or two and then let u know..?
