Is there any way to edit / remove / add items in the recent server menu list via scripting?

Recent servers is just the first few servers listed in your servers list. If you were to go to Options (Alt + o) > Connect > Options and
deselect 'Move to top of list on connect' the servers wouldn't be
added to the recent servers list, but as long as there are servers
in your servers list, there will always be servers in your recent
servers list. Also, selecting 'Clear History' in the recent servers
menu has the same effect as clicking the Sort button in
Options (Alt + o) > Connect > Servers.

Edit: The command to sort the server list is /server -s

So there's no other ways of editing the list then?

I couldn't find any commands to do it appart from the one you suggest but i've also tried looking even edit one of mirc's ini files to do it but can't even see anywhere that it gets the info for to gather the list.

Sorry, I see what you mean now. I've just had a little experiment with the 'Clear History' menu button and well, seems not to do anything. I was wondering if there were any other commands to alter this menu or a list simply because I was thinking about writing a script to tie in with another one i've recently written, but I suppose it's a no go on that idea. :-\
