Just out of curiousity, mIRC client is pretty much compatible with every other OS exept the Macintosh computers, why is that? There are alot of people out there who would like mIRC to be available for Macintosh. Alot of people use Macintosh for the actual use of personal computers and business computers, so would it be possible if the IRC creater could put a version out for Macintosh? I have a macintosh computer sitting in my room which doesnt do me any good because im an IRC junkie, and would like IRC to be available for Macintosh users.. Is that possible?

If you like Apple better than Windows then download Snak or Ircle.

mIRC is only compatible with one OS, which is Windows. The old version of mIRC might also work on OS/2.

If you use Macintosh, you should try another client.

Greetings,

I would highly suggest Ircle for the Macintosh at www.ircle.com. I think you'll enjoy it, as it has a lot of features, not as many as mIRC in some respects, but it's probably the best one out there.

Regards,

John

Ok, so i'll check those out then, I went to the ircle website, but i didnt download it.. I dont have , the DSL on the mac yet but im working on it, atm im busying making my own IRC network which will soon be open to the public. I havent yet figured out who im making admins or anything like that so for now, it will be a good sturdy small network if your interested in needing a new place to chat let me know.
