Hello,

Currently the functions "window tile" or "auto tile" order the windows in the same sequence as they are last clicked or focused.

I wonder if it would possible to introduce a "weight" or "priority" for each channel window or private query window. The tile function can now order the windows in respect to this "weight".

Example: I give my "home" channels a weight of 21,20,19 as I wish them to be ordered. The default value for new channel windows is 10, for new private queries 5. The status window has a weight of 0. Some friends of mine resp their nicks have values between 6 to 9.

Would be nice to read some comments about this...

Nice idea. Personally I like having my "home" channels at the top and others further down.

Taking it a step further, perhaps the ability to make one weighted channel a fixed size would be handy too.

This would also be a good thing to go with Reordering the switchbar buttons, but that is another topic and has already been dicussed numerous times.
