sometimes viewing the mirc window all the time would be
very handy, I have made a screenshot that is pretty self-
explainitory, if someone could make a script that did this or
that it is made into the next mirc version would be very good.

the height should me sizeable, and you should be able to move the buttons up next to the same level as "file, view...". (works in IE)

ps. this IS possible, icq uses this function.
Click here for full size view!

(this was posten then deleted then reposted here.. posted it wrong first..)

EDIT, sure thing, smaller image now..

Hmm, you want mIRC as a dockable window.

Not a bad idea, but I probably wouldn't use it personally.

However, if you wouldn't mind reducing the size and/or quality of that image, see if you can get it under 90Kb. Many of us have very poor dialup connections, and that image takes 10 minutes to download.

I like it. Dunno how hard that would be to implement, but I think I would use something like that.

Greetings,

I think that's interesting. I wouldn't use it, but I can see where it would be useful for those who play games over IRC, or simply those that want to keep a watchful eye on the conversation while browsing. I see lots of practicality... maybe it will be implimented... good luck!

A popup window like the Google Deskbar (not toolbar) uses to display search results would do the trick, and could probably be limited to specific webpages.

Not sure how popular or likely to be implemented this idea would be, but I'd use it if it was there.

Nice smile
Maybe not a complete web browser with an address bar, but just for surfing on mIRC's webpages (like KaZaa's), to check for new updates and changes for e.g.

hmm, some of you might not have understood, this would
make mirc as a part of the taskbar, and maximizing a regular
window (explorer, IE, etc etc) will only make it as big as its
shown in the screen. if you still dont see what I mean try
downloading icq if you dont already have it and pull it off the
screen to either left or right, then you'll understand.

Unfortunately I cannot remember for the life of me what it's called, but there is a DLL out there which does kinda what you want - it will display the text in that format in the active window from the last IRC channel window you left mIRC active with. It doesn't display the nicklist though. it was on mIRC.net before it went down, but often the authors submit to more than one site. Try www.mircscripts.org to look for it.

I think it would be a nice feature to have completely integrated into mIRC though.
