I would really love to have an option to "Confirm Exit".

So when this option is turned on, I would like to have Mirc popup a confirmation dialog when I click close main window or Exit saying : "Are you sure you want to close Mirc?" Yes/No

I have a habit of having a lot of windows open on my desktop and sometimes I accidentally click on Mirc and it closes without any confirmation or checking.

Thank you! I couldn't find that from the options or the help myself.

This said, I would like to see an option whereby you can enable confirmation when pressing the (dis)connect button (the lightning one) - I often go to "File" and my mouse suddenly sticks, then I end up pressing it. On the other hand, I could just be more careful *g*

Thought I'd post here because it relates.

Happy chatting!

Regards,

think this is solved by using the double click on connect button in 6.12

(same screen "confirm" > confirm toolbar disconnect with second click)

If it ain't broken, don't fix it!

yep, that double click feature has saved me from doing the same thing Mentality does. Now if i could just remember to be sure my cursor is in the network window i really want to disconnect from crazy
