Forums mIRC Help XP Install problem

Hi, I have downloaded mIRC 6.12 and tried to install but thats as far as I can get. Install runs until the blue bar has completely gone across to the right but the text reads "Extracting file: urls.ini" where it freezes and I am left with no option but to abort. I then get the message that this program is not responding etc. Can anyone help please?

Before posting a problem, it's often a good idea to run a Search so that you can make sure your problem has not been covered before. Many topics have been covered as you can probably imagine. For best results with the Search feature, expand to 'All Forums' and expand the date range to 'All Posts'.

I did try a search before posting my problem " Search: INSTALL PROBLEM ", but all that was returned was plenty of UNINSTALL PROBLEM issues and none covering my problem.

Yeah, it's best to search for something as specific to your problem as possible.

I ran a search for "urls.ini" and it came up with that thread.
