Forums mIRC Help i gettin message to update to 6.13

I keep on receiving this message "IMPORTANT: It has recently been reported that there is a major bug in -mIRC6.12, allowing malicous users to execute commands remotely, update your mIRC with a patch file you can get it from ~removed~ and help us eradicate this threat, ENJOY & Happy New Year! - Network Security Team" So I copied the link and downloaded the 6.13. But I still receiving this message and the channel i tried to get to kicked me out, because I am sending this message to everyone. But I didn't send this message, it just keep on pop up whenever I get into a channel. Help!!

Make sure you follow the instructions I posted on my last post in that thread to get yourself uninfected (you've got a virus).

It'd be great if people would stop pasting infected URL links to the Forums
