I just got ADSL for christmas with the same isp as i was using for dial up,
now i`ve got this prob, can you give me some help, Please?
my mirc username is nutterone.
I`m using mirc v5.5 32bit i`ve tried enabling Ident changing Localhost & Ip address Normal & server lookup ,
I even tried Mirc v6.12,
with XP (and its firewall enabled & pc-cillin with its firewall enabled as well) as i have done for a long time without a prob.

Firstly, I strongly suggest you keep mIRC 6.12 and keep using it until another version is released. Version 5.5 is severely outdated.

Secondly, don't have both the XP firewall and PC Cillin enabled at the same time. Disable PC Cillin for now, XP Firewall shouldn't cause you any problems connecting to a server (it does tend to make it slower though). Oh, and it doesn't matter that it's worked in the past but not now :P

You may also want to try another server. You can get a list of DALnet servers here.

You can also try running a Search, there have been many issues brought up about ADSL connections. For best results, expand the drop down lists to 'All Forums' and 'All Posts'.
