So a couple of people are having some wierd happenings with one of my scripts under windows 2000. A friend of mine said that there were some differences in the way mirc works on xp and 2k...now that sounds like complete bull to me but the problems are real enough. So i was wondering if anyone knew of any such bugs and any possible workarounds...

Usually, to know a workaround, you need to know the problem.

I use windows 2000 (pro) and never experienced any *weirdness* using it or any programs such as the latest mirc with any of the scripts I've either made or have used.

Try to be more specific and perhaps one of the scripts gods or goddesses can help. smile

Yeah I haven't experienced this first hand, some guys testing one of my add-ons was like oh yeah you know win 2000 blah blah and they all swore to me it was a confirmed issue. So I figured there was some kind of glitch with win2k and if that was true it was probably well known.

I ended up fixing the script later. So I guess I wasted a tiny bit your time so thanks for your patience.

No problem smile

I found anyone using windows xp had more problems than anyone using win2k so I don't know if it's a windows issue, a mirc issue or both...

Anyway happy holidays
