Forums mIRC Help CTRL K problem

Hi, i'm not quite sure how to explain this problem i have noticed, or how to phrase it, but here goes.

For some reason when i either hit CTRL K or look at my scripts in remote that has colour the little box that is normally there before the number of colour, it seems to have changed from the normal box to a strange icon which sorta looks like an small letter L, has anyone ever come across that or knows how to change it back, it seems to be misleading and something i'm not used to seeing when i'm sorting or making scripts.

You might have changed the size of the font in the editer (maybe holding control accidentaly while using the scroll wheel), or the font itself changed. If youw ant the defaults, its "Courier New" size 9.

I think it's part of my windows, i only got it when windows crashed on me, it's the same on my other 3 mirc's

It's som strange behavior in winXP.. the only way "i know about" to get the old style of CTRL + K back, thats to reinstall windows.. its som font DL'd from windows update.. and im not shure what update it is.. but it's not any font in windows.. "been trying them all" and nothing helped.. :tongue: so i went back to window 2k..

actually i have the same issue... also the problem with CTRL U O B R... and before i also have that problem under the Script Editor...

someone told it is posible is something with winXP... and someone told me to play around with [Control Panel] -> [Regional and Language Option] and go to [Language] and [Advance] tabs... after playing with the settings... the issue disappeared only to the script editor... however still have it with my any chan or query text box...

I seem to be having it everywhere on mIRC and it's annoying, i've tried everything i've been told too do in the Control Panel and no luck so far (

Shame there wasn't some sort of .reg file or .exe file or something that could fix it automatically, i haven't been able to do anymore scripts cos i'm just not used to how it's looking now.

sparta could be right... its posible a windows update file... this already happened to me twice... the first time i have this issue, i did a clean reinstall of windows.... and then after sometime, maybe after downloading a windows update, i have the issue again... as of now am too lazy to reinstall windows again... :P
