OP kernunnos Mostly harmless K Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1	Hi there , i would like to know why i am refused on a server because of an invalid username. How a username can be invalid ? I`ve been using that same server for years and in the last months ive been unable to enter. It also say `bad username`. My username being `kernunnos `, i cant understand why its a bad username . If someone can help me please , do it i would like to join that server again. thank Mat

ParaBrat Hoopy frood P Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 3,127 BratLand	also be sure that what you have in options/connect/identd on the user id line is the same thing you have in connect on the email addy line in front of the @. use all lower case letters as well as none of the `^ stuff. check the networks website, they may have a forum or more info specific to them on this ParaBrat @#mIRCAide DALnet

Doqnach Hoopy frood D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,063	maybe you changed you email setting and the server can't retrieve your IDENTD so it uses your email which contains invalid characters ? If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
