www.dal.net will be back up, altho you could get to some areas of it when i tried a couple days ago, like the ezine.
Hopefully you've read the posts poppy referred you to and understand the problem now. Even those of us who have been on DALnet for several years are having probs getting on a server. Those up at any given time limit the number of users they will take, so all anyone can do is keep trying. You can also read
