Make shure the ports on your firewall is opened.. "the one that is used by mirc for DCC" smile

I cant help you there.. i running outpost my self.. thats the only firewall i using.. and you must have a manual for the firewall, if not, then look if you have any default settings for your firewall, the most ones have default settings that allow programs like mirc/icq/outlook and others to get access to the net..

The problem could be in several areas. Try reading this thread

Im sure there is either a manual or website for help with setting your firewall, we could only in general tell you it has to allow the ports you have set in options for mIRC to use to dcc send. (options/dcc/options)

If by invision, you mean the script, you will need to ask whoever wrote that for help. Several ppl have complained of problems with it. To test to see if thats the prob, get a clean copy of mIRC from www.mirc.com, put it in its own directory (dont save settings) and see if you have any problem with dcc sends.

that is odd, are you sure the problem isnt on the senders end? Have you tried with some other ppl?
-check the status window for any error msgs
-Check in mIRC's options under dcc/ignore to see if you are ignoring the file type
-check in options/other/lock to see if you have disabled gets
-the request window may not be opening, in any mIRC window type /sreq ask
-look to see if any icons are up in your switchbar just in case they are auto minimizing
-check to see if you or a script are putting the sender on ignore (look in the addy book, alt + b under control)
-a script could be messing things up
