I use mIRC 6.03
Pentium III 866
512 megs Ram
Windows 2k Pro

I had my Logfiles nested away as such:

G:\Download\LOG\mIRC Logs\

And noted that 6.03 couldn't create a logfile within the directory:

I experimented a bit and found out that if I changed the directory case to :

G:\Download\log\mIRC Logs\

it worked. For some reason the all capitals folder name caused some trouble.

odd, but i can't reproduce this. did you change the case of the logdir entry in mirc.ini or of the directory itself?
