well, i hope you wont be angry if i say, that win98 is a s h i t. it is based on dos, and slow and instabile and etc etc, well winnt is much better, and nt 5.1 (xp) is the best windows on the market
so you'd better use xp than 98 because errors like this on win98 sometimes appear on an as complex calculation as (1+1)*(1-1)
it isnt clever enough to calculate it, it isnt clever enough to just pass it to the cpu.
