I'm using Windows XP version 2002

mIRC series 6.* runs fine for a time but eventually it'll crash.

Any suggestions?

To make this actually mea anything to people, you need to tell what you did or were doing when it crashed. You also need to tell if you were running plain mirc, or using some dll or script on mirc. Saying "My mirc crashed, what should I do" is of no help to anyone.

Hello, i recommended that you try to update to mirc 6.12 if you don't have it, since the before versions have a dcc bug that allows other users to crash them remotly.
You can also try to find for an addon to protect you against that, there are some and i have also made one.
