It would be great if mIRC would have a blacklist on DCC Gets so you could add names/wildmasks of potential trojans/viruses! shocked

See Alt+O > DCC > Ignore; you can add as many wildcards as you want to effectively block unwanted files.

This is a new feature to 6.1x (but it isn't quite exactly what you want, but it does a damn good job).

Go to Tools > Options > DCC and in the on SEND section, you'll see a button labelled "Trusted"

Click on this, and you are now able to manipulate a list of trusted clients for DCC gets. One of the options there is to limit the auto get to those only in the trusted list.

Nice and handy feature smile

Yeah, that I know of, it's not the same as a blacklist though smirk

I know what you mean, however, in a sense, the trusted client list can act as an inverse blacklister for you.

If you add in all the clients that you can trust, then it can be configured to completely reject all others.

This in a sense blacklists all non trusted clients smile
