OP lonesome Babel fish Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 62	Current server time is: 24/10/2003 17:12 (GMT+1) Choose your time offset in hours (..,-2,-1,0,1,2,..) My location here is Singapore, and time here should be GMT+8. However, if I choose +7, the time would be wrong. It's 23:12 here. +7 would become 00:12. What is wrong here? Can someone enlighten me? Is there some daylight time savings feature in the place where this message board is hosted?

cold Hoopy frood C Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 810	This is confusing indeed, however the offset is based on the forum time (17:12), not on the current GMT time. Since the forum shows itself as GMT+1, you'd need GMT+8-1 (GMT+7). * cold edits his posts 24/7
