Hello, is there any way to put up an mIRC bot for my server which will stay up 24 hours a day, withought my pc being on or withought havind a sepparate mIRC screen on?

Yea, there called eggdrops. Basically a bot ran from another computer to hold a channel and waits for commands. You can get eggdrops from different websites but i don't think you'll find any free ones.

For what network do you need a bot? and how big is your channel? smile

You can get free shells, i used to when msn was open to clients such as mIRC a few years back.
But shell accounts are quite cheap and you usually get a couple of processes with it, so you can upload your tcl script to run a bot on it, very effective too with a whole range of commands. laugh

there are lots of eggdrops for window (windrops), they work as fine as the unix versions.....and aren't not too hard to configure.....

Maybe they work as fine - they just suffer from running on windows, which is a huge bottleneck.
