I searched the forums and didnt see this error, so i'll post it,
if i missed it and someone else beat me to it, oh well. lol.

mIRC Version: 6.12
Error: Script Editor NOT saving file changes

When loading a script, Changes made to previously
edited file will not save.

(unless you have saved changes using file-save,
clicking OK and reopening the editor, shortcut
key, what not)

Reproduction:
1) Open a script you already have saved.
2) Mod it in some way.
3) Load a script from the file menu (in editor)
4) go back to previous script from File-View.

File Changes are NOT saved to previous file, but
reverted to last save.

Any thoughts?

I've managed to replicate this.

It seems that the act of loading a script kills the editor's cache of the viewed script, so when the editor switches automatically to the loaded script, the changes are lost.

Actually, my theroy is its simply an unchecked part of the mirc code. the editor has numerous times when it has to save code when you dont tell it to.

The glitch is that Khaled just forgot to tell mirc to check for a file change when loading a script. Most likely a very simple fix.
