I was reading a messageboard a few weeks ago (forgot which one) and someone was talking about new technologies. One of the examples were Par files for news groups. He gave another new technolgy example involving p2p, and the last example I believe involved IRC. I forgot what the IRC program/technology was, but it was spelled something like bootle, bottle, butle, or something like that.
I remember reading about the technology and thinking 'wow, thats pretty cool.' It reminded me of when I read about .par files. But I don't remember where I read this, and my google searches come up empty. It's driving me crazy. Can anyone help me out here?
